Bill of Rights

Right to Democratic Participation

Every member of the caucus has the right to participate equally in discussions, strategy, decision-making, and union activities. All members are guaranteed freedom of speech and assembly within the caucus. No member shall be excluded, silenced, or discriminated against based on age, race, gender, ethnicity, political affiliation, religion, disability, or sexual identity.

Right to Broad Representation and Member Democracy

Every member has the right to be part of a caucus that reflects the diversity of the membership, and ensures equitable inclusion across all roles, backgrounds, and experiences. The caucus shall be member-driven, democratic, and transparent, not controlled by leadership or informal power structures.

Right to a Caucus Built on Trust, Ethics, and Respect

Every member has the right to be part of a caucus that reflects the diversity of the membership, and ensures equitable inclusion across all roles, backgrounds, and experiences. Right to Transparent, Accountable, and Empowering Governance

Every member has the right to access, question, and engage with caucus communications, decisions, and strategic plans. Members have the right to fair elections, propose initiatives, organize working groups, and participate in education, training, and collaborative spaces that strengthen the caucus and the union.
